1928 Vega Style R Whyte Ladie

Vega Style R Whyte Ladie short scale 17 fret tenor banjo. This Style are has matching serial numbers on the persch pole and rim 79541 which dates it 1928. The banjo has had some fancy after market customisation on the headstock and fret board, also a custom added armrest. The banjo has been given a recent polish and setup by myself and plays and sounds really well.

Banjo details

Three piece maple neck with 17 frets, all in good condition and plenty of life left. The tuners are the quality German made ABM with the 7mm barrel.  28 slotted tension hoop with one piece band around the rim holding the shoes. Oettinger style tailpiece (non original) possibly Germand made. Whyte Ladie tonering, smooth white Remo head and two foot maple/ebony bridge.

The banjo comes with a beautiful little tenor guitar hardshell case, which would be worth good money in itself. If you are looking for a neat little short scale openback tenor banjo, this one may tick the boxes.
