Sully Whyte Ladie Tenor Banjo
Sully Whyte Ladie model standard scale 19 fret resonator tenor banjo built in 1990 by Tony Sullivan, with serial #22. Fitted with a Whyte Ladie tone ring seated on a 3/4″ solid maple rim, which gives this little gem its shear power and sustain. All parts are of the finest quality as you’d expect from Sullivan banjos, 1/2″ notched brass tension hoop with 24 hooks and rounded nuts. Clamshell tailpiece, armrest, 5 Star geared tuners fitted with pearl style buttons. Rosewood fretboard with MOP dot inlay position makers, good frets and low action. The nut width is 30mm and the scale length from the inside nut to the bridge is 23″. Gibson style flange, attached to a figured maple resonator with white binding to the sides. All together a fine modern banjo that can accommodate a fishman pickup if you fancy using for gigs. The metal work is first class and the lacquer shows no wear, this banjo has been well cared for and is now 35 years old. Comes with a modern hardshell case.
